FOR CANDIDATES

What kind of jobs do we recruit for?

We currently look for those who are qualified to excel in residential care homes roles, with domiciliary care agencies, and for private individuals needing a live-in carer in their own homes. All of these roles are currently located in the UK, but we are working on expanding into the USA and Canada.

How long does the application take, and what is the process?

The fastest possible successful application-to-start process is currently around two months, but may take longer depending on job availability, efficiency of the employer, current visa processing times and political factors. The general steps are as follows:

1. Send us your CV/resume through this link. There is also a short online application to complete.

2. Should we decide to shortlist your application, you will be invited to carry out an online interview with a Keudos representative and a qualified Care Specialist. This could be simultaneously or separately.

3. Following a successful interview, Keudos will recommend you to UK employers actively seeking a good fit, who are then likely to interview you directly.

4. If you are successful, an offer letter will be presented to you and, upon acceptance, the document processing will begin.

5. Upon completion of documentation, it's time to fly to the UK to begin work.

What if I feel unsettled about moving to the UK?

We've been there. It's natural to feel nervous about leaving what you know behind in favour of a new start. By finding your overseas role through Keudos, we will be there for you every step of the way by offering the following:

1. Travel advice and flight coordination.

2. A free acclimatisation pack, including assistance with bank accounts, insurances and more, plus general information about the UK, tourist destinations, economic climate and the particular area you will be relocating to.

3. Free support before, during and after your application and start date at your new job. This can be by phone, video call or email.

4. Collection from the airport and transportation to your destination, subject to location of placement and airport, and availability.

What is the cost to apply?

We will never charge applicants to apply for our roles. If any charges arise as a result of something out of the ordinary, we will be sure to make you aware well in advance.

How about accommodation?

It is the duty of the employer to offer assistance to newly-arrived international employees. This includes arranging suitable furnished accommodation. Location and type of property will vary between employers, and sharing may sometimes be required.

Will I receive free healthcare?

As you will be classed as a UK resident you will, for the duration of your stay, be entitled to public medical and dental care through the UK's National Health Service.

Can I bring my family to the UK?

As a registered nurse, yes you can but not currently as a care assistant.
